Dump Truck and Sedan Collide on Highway 101 in Palo Alto, Injuries Reported
PALO ALTO, CA (June 18, 2019) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Palo Alto.
The crash happened around around 3:56 p.m. on southbound Highway 101, just South of Embarcadero Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a large dump truck and a white sedan collided for unknown reasons. Fire crews along with paramedics responded to the scene and found one occupant with a head injury.
The patient was transported to Stanford University Medical Center for proper treatment.
Towing services removed both vehicles from the crash site.
An investigation is ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved.
