Sedan and Pickup Truck Collide on 10 Freeway in Fontana, Injuries Reported
FONTANA, CA (June 7, 2019) – One person was hospitalized Friday following a 2-vehicle crash on 10 Freeway, near Etiwanda Avenue.
The collision took place just after 2:00 p.m., along the eastbound lanes of the freeway. Dispatchers arrived near Etiwanda Avenue shortly after.
Fire crews arrived on the scene and located a silver Honda Pilot and a gray Ford pickup truck.
While the cause of the crash has not yet been determined, one occupant was injured as a result of the accident.
Paramedics also took the injured patient to Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center for further treatment. However, they are currently in an unknown condition.
There were no descriptions of any vehicular damages, but both vehicles were eventually towed away from the crash site. The surrounding roadway was also closed off for a brief time, but has since reopened.
