One Hospitalized after DUI Crash on Trent Avenue [Spokane Valley, WA]

DUI Driver Arrested after Collision near Vista Road

 
SPOKANE VALLEY, WA (January 8, 2020) – One person was hospitalized after a DUI crash on Trent Avenue on Wednesday morning.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the incident happened near Vista Road when a truck crashed into a nearby power pole.
 
The paramedics confirmed that one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the impact. The victim was later transported a nearby hospital for further treatment.
 
The driver was in custody for DUI following his arrest. Moreover, police did not release any other details at this time. However, an investigation is currently on-going.
 
One lane on westbound Trent Avenue was closed for a brief time during the initial investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened.
