One Hospitalized after DUI Crash on 210 Freeway [Rialto, CA]

DUI Driver Involved in Injury Collision near Alder Avenue

 
RIALTO, CA (January 4, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a DUI crash on westbound 210 Freeway, Friday noon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 12:55 PM, just west of Alder Avenue. Based on their report, the victim drove a white commercial van that hit the wall at the right shoulder and landed on the railings. A good Samaritan in a white Chevrolet truck reported that the victim smelled alcohol at the time of the accident.
 
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They sent the victim to Anaheim Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Cleaning and clearing operations took place in the area right after rescue efforts were completed by the team. here is an ongoing investigation to determine contributing factors. No additional information has been released to the public.
