Two Vehicles Involved in Collision near Livermore Road
CALISTOGA, CA (December 7, 2018) – One person was hospitalized after a car crash on northbound Highway 29, Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:10 PM, just south of Livermore Road. Based on their report, there were two vehicles involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a white Ford pickup truck and an unknown car. One of the vehicles was found at least 30 to 50 feet down the hill and the collision reportedly caused fire that was immediately put out by the authorities.
The paramedics were requested for needed medical attention. One person was reportedly sent to Queen of the Valley Hospital for broken arms and pelvis. There was no update yet on the condition of the victim.
Cleaning and clearing operations were performed in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident to help identify the possible contributing factors. Additional information has yet to be released.
