Solo-Vehicle Collision Reported near Highway 129
WATSONVILLE, CA (May 15, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a car crash on southbound Highway 1, Wednesday afternoon.
According to reports, the collision took place at approximately 3:23 PM, near Highway 129. First responders arrived to the area shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
Based on an initial report, the case was a solo-vehicle accident. The involved vehicle was identified as a silver Pontiac.
The paramedics confirmed that at least one person was hurt in the incident. In addition, they said that the victim suffered minor injuries due to impact.
Both southbound lanes were closed while clearing and cleaning operations took place in the area.
