One Dead in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on Highway 237
SAN JOSE, CA (July 29, 2019) — At least one person died after a pedestrian crash on Highway 237 in San Jose on Sunday, July 28.
According to authorities, officers received the initial report of the collision at 3:39 a.m. Dispatchers arrived on eastbound Highway 23 just west of Zanker Road.
The identity of the victim was not yet available pending notification of loved ones.
Authorities shut down multiple lanes of the freeway as the CHP investigated the accident. There are no immediate reports of other injuries or arrests.
The cause and circumstances of the incident are not yet released at this time.
