Passenger Died, Driver Injured in Los Angeles Suspected DUI Crash
LOS ANGELES, CA (December 27, 2018) – A 32-year-old passenger died when the car he was in crashed into several vehicles on Wednesday, December 19.
According to the California Highway Patrol officials, they believe the unidentified 32-year-old driver was under the influence of alcohol.
At about 9:40 p.m., the motorist in a Mitsubishi Eclipse sped off the 60 Freeway and barreled along the westbound Indiana Street off-ramp where he sideswiped a vehicle, the CHP stated. He then blew past a stop sign, crossed the intersection of Indiana at Fourth Street, struck a parked car and crashed into a tree.
The driver suffered serious injuries. No additional information was released.
