Traffic Delays Caused by Phelan Car Accident
PHELAN, CA (February 26, 2019) – A person was extricated in a vehicle that rolled over and landed on its roof after colliding into a semi’s back on February 25.
The incident occurred at 12:16 p.m. on Highway 138 near Highway 2. The California Highway Patrol incident logs revealed that a sedan struck the back of a semi truck. After that, the vehicle overturned in the lanes heading downhill.
San Bernardino County Firefighters came to respond and found a dark blue ‘Nissan Kicks’ on its roof with one person needing extrication.
The incident caused traffic delays in both directions of Highway 138. Alternate routes were administered by the CHP but later stopped the traffic completely.
There were no further details regarding the possible injuries.
