One Dies in Scooter Accident on 1st Street [Cheney, WA]

Cheney, WA (July 11, 2022) – On Thursday, a person sustained fatal injuries in a scooter accident on 1st Street.

The authorities immediately responded to the accident scene at around 5:40 p.m. in the area of 2nd Street wherein a vehicle was also involved.

According to the investigators, the vehicle driver stopped at a stop sign at the west side of the intersection before it turned north onto 1st Street.

Officers say the vehicle cut in front of the southbound scooter. 

Unfortunately, the man driving the scooter was unable to prevent the collision. Sadly, he lost his life at the scene.

Moreover, the paramedics rushed the vehicle driver to a hospital with non-severe injuries.
