Glacier, WA (June 15, 2022) – On Tuesday, a person sustained fatal injuries in a rafting accident on Nooksack River.
The authorities responded to the accident scene at about 2:55 p.m. at the north fork area of the river.
Officers say there were 5 people on board including a guide when the raft overturned.
Reports say the guide was able to take 2 people out of the river. However, 2 people were swept downstream.
