One Dies, Others Injured in DUI Crash on Morning Drive [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (January 17, 2022) – On Sunday, a person died and others were injured in a DUI crash on Morning Drive.

The fatal crash happened at about 9 p.m. in the 3200 block area.

Responding officers found an adult male pinned under his vehicle and suffering from major injuries. Minutes later, that man died at the scene.

Moreover, four other occupants of the vehicle sustained injuries.

Officers said that the vehicle driver was not injured in the collision.

Meanwhile, investigators found out that the driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned several times.

Though they are still investigating, officers said speed and alcohol were possible factors in this crash.
