The Aftermath of Fatal Crash
It is clear now more than ever that one person’s negligence can have devastating effects on other individuals. This is quite common in accidents that result in death. Therefore, it is crucial that the bereaved becomes aware that they have the authority to file a wrongful death suit.
A wrongful death lawsuit gives the loved ones of a departed family member some semblance of justice.
“Insurance companies will try to save money, even if it means not fully compensating a family for the wrongful death of a loved one. When a family retains an attorney immediately, it gives them time to grieve and heal, while their attorney works to build a strong case and hold the negligent party accountable,” says Tyler Toomey, a practicing attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
