One Dead Two Hurt in Head-On Collision on Highway 29 [Calistoga, CA]

Calistoga, CA (February 11, 2022) On Thursday, a Calistoga man Died and 2 Napa residents were hurt in a head-on collision on Highway 29.

Authorities say that the crash happened around 9:18 p.m. south of Diamond Mountain Road.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the 56-year-old Calistoga resident was driving his GMC Sierra 1500 truck south on the highway.

Then, his truck crosses the double yellow lines and hits a Ford E-250 head-on.

Inside the Ford were a 51-year-old and a 33-year-old from a man both from Napa who were both taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the Calistoooga man was the sole occupant of his vehicle and died on the spot.

The CHP says that the crash and its cleanup lasted for about 2 hours.

Moreover, an investigation is still being conducted by the CHP and no other information is available at the moment.
