One Killed in Lodi T-Bone Crash on Locust Tree Road

 
LODI, CA (July 9, 2019) – A passenger died following a t-bone accident on Locust Tree Road in Lodi on Saturday, July 6.
 
At around 7:20 p.m., a Kia traveled north on Locust Tree Road towards Kettleman Lane. Another vehicle, a Ford, moved eastbound on Kettleman Lane. As both vehicles entered the intersection, the driver of the Kia was not paying attention to the road. The driver ran the stop sign and struck the side of the Ford.
 
The person sitting in the front passenger seat of the Ford sustained major injuries and later died at the hospital.
 
Neither alcohol nor drugs contributed to the collision, police stated. However, police did not release any other details regarding the accident at this time. In addition, an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
