One Fatally Hurt in San Jose Pedestrian Accident on First Street
SAN JOSE, CA (November 4, 2019) — A person died from injuries suffered in a pedestrian accident on First Street on Wednesday, October 23.
According to the report, a 56-year-old man walked on the roadway at South First and East Virginia streets south of downtown. Then at about 11:43 a.m., a southbound 2008 silver Lexus struck him, police stated.
Emergency responders brought the man to the hospital, where he died. His identity was not yet available pending notification of his next of kin.
The Lexus driver remained at the crash site and cooperated with the authorities.
