One Fatally Injured after San Francisco Motorcycle Collision on Highway 80
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 16, 2019) – One person died following a motorcycle collision on Highway 80 on Sunday, September 15.
The CHP said the crash happened at around 1:37 a.m. when the victim crashed his bike on the westbound Highway 80 connector to northbound Highway 101. Then he went over the railing and landed on city streets in San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The bike remained on the highway. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
A coroner responded to the crash site. There were no major closures to freeways or city streets, the CHP said.
