Driver Killed, Passenger Seriously Injured in Woodland Two-Car Crash on County Road 27
WOODLAND, CA (June 21, 2019) – A two-car crash on County Road 27 left one person dead and another injured on Wednesday, June 19.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Honda Accord traveled east on County Road 27 around 11 a.m. He pulled directly into the path of a Ford F-250 truck with an attached trailer traveling north on County Road 102. County Road 27 has stop signs, whereas County Road 102 does not.
The two vehicles crashed and paramedics transported the driver and passenger of the Accord to a nearby hospital. The driver died at the hospital, while the passenger sustained major injuries.
Officials believe that alcohol and drugs were not contributing factors in the incident, CHP said.
The identities of those involved in the crash were not immediately available.
