4 Vehicles Involved in Major Collision near Highway 180
FRESNO, CA (August 22, 2018) – On Wednesday morning, one person was critically injured in a multi-car crash on Highway 41.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision occurred at approximately 8:44 AM, just north of Highway 180. Officers arrived at the scene to find four damaged vehicles in the area of the crash: a silver Toyota Camry, a blue Mazda 4D, a blue Saturn SUV and a white vehicle. The cause of the pile-up crash is unclear at this time.
One person was reportedly unresponsive when the medics arrived. The motorist suffered major injuries due to the impact of the collision, and his name and place of residence were not immediately released. There is no update on his current medical condition. No other injuries were reported in the incident.
At least three lanes of the 41 freeway were closed while crews cleared the road and officials conducted an investigation. No additional information has been disclosed to the public at this time, as officials continue to investigate.
