Two Semi-Trucks Involved in Collision near Highway 58
MOJAVE, CA (April 15, 2019) – One person was airlifted after semi-truck crash on westbound Highway 14, Monday morning.
According to CHP, the collision took place around 4:00 AM near the Highway 58 off-ramp. Based on an initial report, two semi-trucks were involved in the accident.
One person was pinned inside one of the trucks when the paramedics arrived. In addition, the victim was extricated and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was closed while rescue, clearing, and cleaning operations took place in the area.
An investigation is ongoing to determine what might have caused the collision. However, no additional information has been released to the public at this time.
