Major Injuries Recorded in Collision near La Franchi Road
HOPLAND, CA (December 31, 2018) – One person was airlifted after a multi-car crash on northbound Highway 101, Monday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 2:25 PM, near La Franchi Road. Based on their report, three vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a red sedan, a black Dodge sedan and another red sedan.
The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that one person was sent by an air ambulance to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The road was totally closed due to the commotion. Cleaning and clearing operations took place after rescue. The cause of the accident was not yet determined by the authorities. No other information has been disclosed to the public, as the investigation is ongoing.
