Plane Crash Near Mission Avenue Injures Two
Oceanside, CA (February 24, 2022) – On Thursday, an airplane crash near Oceanside Municipal Airport injured two people.
The collision happened at about 12:45 p.m. near Mission Avenue.
Officer said the single-engine Cessna 208B Caravan crashed half-mile east of the general-aviation near State Route 76.
Right away, the paramedics extricated the two occupants from the damaged aircraft. Then, they airlifted one of them to a trauma center in critical condition.
Similarly, a ground ambulance took the other to a hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA investigates the incident.
