Richardson, TX (March 5, 2024) On Sunday morning, 57-year-old Omar Hammet of Huntsville died after a hit-and-run crash on the South Central Expressway.

According to Richardson police (RPD), the fatal hit-and-run collision happened around 1:50 a.m. on the South Central Expressway near Spring Valley Road.

Reports say that Hammet was struck by a car that fled the scene, officials found the victim’s body around 1:50 a.m. on Sunday.
