Person Killed in Traffic Crash on State Route 138
Bakersfield, CA (September 17, 2022) On Friday evening, a pedestrian, Vincent Ortiz Hernandez, died in a fatal crash involving multiple vehicles on Olive Drive in northwest Bakersfield.
Bakersfield police say that the fatal crash happened around 11 p.m. near Agoura Hills Way.
Reports say that multiple vehicle struck a 62-year-old pedestrian laying on the roadway. Officials say that the accident caused fatal injuries to the pedestrian and police pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Furthermore, the Kern County Coroner’s Office identified the decedent as Vincent Ortiz Hernandez.
Moreover, authorities are investigating the incident and have not provided additiona information about the Olive Drive fatal crash.
