Rider Dies after Running Through Red Light and Crashes into Car in Oildale
OILDALE, CA (December 22, 2018) – A man was killed following a motorcycle crash Saturday in Oildale, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal crash happened at the intersection of North Chester Avenue and Roberts Lane.
CHP officials said the man was riding his motorcycle southbound on North Chester Avenue and failed to stop at a red light and crashed into a car.
Officers said a Hall Ambulance was at the intersection at the time of the crash and was able to take the rider to a hospital.
Sadly, the unidentified rider did not survive and was declared dead.
The driver of the other car was not injured in the crash, according to the CHP.
