Officers Report Injury in Interstate 80 Collision [Berkeley, CA]

Berkeley, CA (August 20, 2021 – On Thursday, officers reported injuries in the Interstate 80 crash.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says the accident took place at about 6:11 p.m., westbound on the freeway, west of Gilman Street.

Responding authorities said two vehicles overturned and blocked traffic lanes for almost an hour.

They issued a severe traffic alert with injuries on the accident scene.

Moreover, at about 7 p.m., traffic crews said the crash scene was cleared and all lanes were reopened.
