LOS ANGELES, CA (October 17, 2024) – Wednesday morning, 2 police officers suffered injuries in a police chase crash on 7th Street and Union Avenue.

The crash occurred just after 3:00 a.m. on 7th Street and Union Avenue in the WestLake District.

The crash happened while officers were pursuing a grand theft auto suspect. Footage from the scene shows the officers being taken away by ambulance. Both sustained minor injuries and are expected to recover.

Police said the suspect, wanted for car theft on 5th Street, escaped in a grey Lexus without license plates.
