22-Year Veteran Tom Maguire Hospitalized after Walnut Creek Motorcycle Crash
WALNUT CREEK, CA (February 6, 2019) – On Wednesday morning, 22-year California Highway Patrol veteran Tom Maguire was injured in a motorcycle accident on the 680 Freeway.
According to law enforcement, the incident occurred around 8:00 AM near Livorna Road.
As per reports, both officer Maguire and a Jaguar sedan were traveling towards the right shoulder lane. Soon after, reports state Maguire struck the other vehicle. No other cars were involved in the collision.
Maguire suffered minor injuries in the accident. First responders arrived at the scene and took him John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.
His current medical condition is unclear at this time. In addition, no other injuries were reported in the accident.
No further details have been disclosed to the public, as the investigation continues.
