Injuries Reported in Seal Beach Auto Accident on Seal Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway

SEAL BEACH, CA (May 13, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a police officer suffered injuries in a traffic crash on Seal Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway.

The incident happened at 12:16 p.m. on Seal Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway.

According to reports, a Seal Beach police officer was responding to an emergency medical call. The officer’s lights and sirens were activated. However, another vehicle struck the officer at the intersection.

After the crash, the Orange County Fire Authority transported the officer to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Then, the hospital released the officer later in the day.

Meanwhile, the other motorist involved in the crash received treatment at the scene for minor injuries.

Then, the authorities towed away both vehicles away from the scene.

At this time, the cause of the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
