Suspect Arrested in Aurora Avenue North Traffic Collision

Seattle, WA (September 27, 2022) – On Monday evening, an officer sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on 120th Street in the area of Aurora Avenue North.

A police officer was to serve a warrant to a 22-year-old male suspect who has outstanding robbery charges.

However, the suspect tried to drive from the scene and struck an officer outside of their police vehicle. Also, the suspect struck several cars in traffic before he ran away on foot.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the injured officer to the hospital with a broken leg.

Later on, the officers took the suspect into custody. 

Officers say they recovered a gun from the suspect’s vehicle.
