Officer Injured in Nees Avenue Vehicle Crash [Clovis, CA]

Clovis, CA (October 15, 2022) – On Saturday, a Fresno County Sheriff’s deputy sustained injuries following a Nees Avenue vehicle crash.

The three-vehicle collision happened just after midnight in the area of Willow Avenue.

The officer was stopped at the intersection’s stoplight facing Nees Avenue when two cars collided. One of the vehicles was pushed north and crashed head-on into the officer’s car.

Immediately, the officer was transported to the hospital and released a short time after.

Later, the authorities arrested a 25-year-old woman who was involved in the crash for DUI. Officers say both drivers involved were hanging out earlier that night.
