1 Hospitalized after Mesa Auto Accident on Baseline Road
MESA, AZ (November 15, 2020) – Thursday night, an officer suffered injuries in a minivan crash on Baseline Road and Gilbert Road.
According to reports, a minivan struck and injured the patrol officer who was directing traffic around a separate accident.
As a result, responders took the officer to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Mesa Police Department spokesperson Jason Flam said.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains unknown. Thus, the police continue to investigate the accident on Baseline Road.
“At this point, we do not believe impairment played a factor in the crash,” added Flam.
