Isaac Guzman Arrested after Hit-And-Run Crash in East San Jose
East San Jose, CA (April 18, 2022) – Sunday night, a police officer sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Story Road and Jackson Avenue.
Subsequently, police arrested a Los Banos man, 19-year-old Isaac Guzman for felony hit-and-run and assault with a deadly weapon.
Reportedly, police arrived at a sideshow at Capitol Expressway and Capitol Avenue where some fleeing cars drove to the area of Story Road and Jackson Avenue.
Guzman then allegedly rammed a patrol car and then hit an officer while fleeing the area.
Police found his vehicle stopped near the intersection of White and McKee roads. He was later arrested.
Moreover, police arrested eight people on suspicion of firearms violations. Three vehicles were impounded for 30 days and about 40 citations were issued for spectator and mechanical violations.
