Officer Injured in East Highway 62/82 Collision [Lubbock, TX]

Lubbock, TX (December 8, 2023) – A Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputy sustained injuries in an  East Highway 62/82 Wednesday night.

The traffic accident happened before 10:00 p.m. in the area of East County Road 6200,

Officers said the deputy was rear-ended by a vehicle while on patrol.

Immediately, the deputy was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries while the driver of the other vehicle refused EMS.

LCSO is investigating this traffic accident.
