Mountlake Terrace Police Officer Injured in Rear-End Crash near 220th Street Southwest

 
MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, WA (May 16, 2019) – A Mountlake Terrace police officer suffered injuries early Thursday morning following a suspected DUI crash on Interstate 5.
 
As per reports, the incident happened near 220th Street Southwest, at about 3:40 AM. The officer was about to exit the highway when a vehicle rear-ended the patrol car.
 
Emergency responders rendered aid to the officer, who complained of back pain. Meanwhile, authorities arrested the driver of the vehicle and transported her to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
