Injuries Reported in Houston Traffic Crash
Houston, TX (September 1, 2024) – A Houston police officer was injured in a hit-and-run crash on West Sam Houston Parkway late Thursday night.
It was past 11 p.m. when a female police officer was driving south on Sam Houston Pkwy. However, as the officer drove through the intersection on a green light, a blue Tahoe driving west on Richmond Avenue has ran a red light and struck the officer’s vehicle.
The Tahoe driver left the scene, but the authorities later found the vehicle without the suspect inside.
Meanwhile, the injured officer was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
Officers are investigating the hit-and-run crash on West Sam Houston Parkway.
