Fresno Police Investigate Crash on McKinley and Chestnut

Fresno, CA (December 22, 2022) – Early Thursday morning, an officer sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash on McKinley and Chestnut.

The two-vehicle crash in Fresno happened around 12:30 a.m. on December 22.

Fresno Police said they tried to pull over a car for a minor traffic violation, but the car ran a red light and failed to pull over. 

Police followed the car, and that is when officers hit a different car from the Highway 168 off-ramp.

EMS took the officer to a nearby hospital for pain. Meanwhile, the other driver stayed and cooperated with the officers.

However, the driver of the car wanted a traffic violation and got away.

No other information is immediately available.
