1 Hospitalized in South Los Angeles Vehicle Accident on Figueroa and 110th street
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (May 5, 2021) – Tuesday evening, an officer sustained injuries in a crash on Figueroa and 110th Street.
According to Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened at around 9:35 p.m. Apparently, a vehicle struck an officer involved in searching for a man carrying a gun. The incident happened in the area of Figueroa and 110th Street.
Afterward, responders transported the injured officer to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Also, the driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
The identity of the officer was not made public.
