Officer Injured in Corral Hollow Road Collision [Tracy, CA]

Tracy, CA (January 16, 2024) – A Tracy Police officer sustained injuries following a Corral Hollow Road collision Sunday morning.

The collision happened past 6 a.m. when officers were responding to a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of Grant Line Road.

An officer was driving a southbound marked patrol SUV when a Toyota driver ran a red light and collided with the patrol vehicle.

The police officer was not driving with emergency lights or sirens on and was driving the speed limit when the accident happened.

Responding medical team rushed the officer to a hospital with moderate injuries. 

The rescuers freed the Toyota from her vehicle and transported her to the hospital with moderate injuries.
