ROHNERT PARK, CA (October 26, 2022) – Monday night, an officer suffered injuries in an auto accident on Rohnert Park Expressway and State Farm Drive.
 
The incident happened at about 9:10 p.m. on Rohnert Park Expressway and State Farm Drive.
 
According to reports, a driver ran a red light and crashed with a Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety office,
 
Reports said that the officer traveled east on Rohnert Park Expressway. Then, the officer continued to the intersection on a green turn arrow to head north.
 
Meanwhile, a westbound silver Honda sedan drove into the intersection against a red light. Then, the driver hit the front passenger side of the police vehicle.
 
After the crash, both the officer and the Honda driver sustained minor injuries in the collision.
