Temecula, CA (March 8, 2024) – A Riverside County sheriff’s deputy has sustained injuries following a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 79 Thursday afternoon.
The traffic accident happened at about 4:50 p.m. at Pacific Sunset Drive when the patrol vehicle and another car collided.
As a result, the officer was trapped inside the patrol unit and incurred minor injuries.
Immediately, rescuers rushed to the scene and freed the officer.
