Temecula Traffic Collision Under Investigation

Temecula, CA (March 8, 2024) – A Riverside County sheriff’s deputy has sustained injuries following a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 79 Thursday afternoon.

The traffic accident happened at about 4:50 p.m. at Pacific Sunset Drive when the patrol vehicle and another car collided.

As a result, the officer was trapped inside the patrol unit and incurred minor injuries.

Immediately, rescuers rushed to the scene and freed the officer.

In the meantime, troopers are investigating this traffic accident. The other driver’s status has not been updated.
