Injuries Reported in Bakersfield Head-On Collision on Jawbone Canyon Road
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 22, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a crippling off-road vehicle crash on Jawbone Canyon Road injured 1 person.
The incident involving two off-road vehicles happened on a dirt road south of Jawbone Canyon Road, in eastern Kern County. Reports confirmed that the Kern County Fire Department rescued two people involved in an off-road vehicle crash.
After the crash, Mercy Air 14 airlifted one person to the hospital. Meanwhile, a ground ambulance took another person with a less critical injury to a hospital.
Moreover, officers advised riders to install high visibility flags and always be observant of their surroundings when operating UTVs.
