Odalys Navarro Dies in Motorcycle Accident on Steel Peak Drive [Perris, CA]

Perris, CA (September 8, 2023) On Thursday, August 31, a motorcycle accident on Steel Peak Drive sent 3-year-old Odalys Navarro and her mother Rubi Navarro to the hospital.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Steel Peak Drive and Palm Street.

Reports say that a person riding a dirt bike struck a mother and child on the dirt sidewalk in the community of Good Hope.

Officials say that the motorcyclist fled the scene after the incident and left both victims lying on the ground with life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say that Odalys and Rubi were rushed to the hospital, where the 3-year-old succumbed to the fatal injuries and died on Monday. Rubi, who is 5 months pregnant, is recovering from her wounds.
