Odai Abuzaid of Simi Valley Fatally Struck on Harbor Boulevard [Ventura, CA]

Ventura, CA (February 18, 2022) – On Sunday, 28-year-old Odai Abuzaid of Simi Valley sustained fatal injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Harbor Boulevard.

The fatal accident took place minutes before 8 p.m. south of Spinnaker Drive.

Officers said a vehicle struck Abuzaid and he was knocked down onto the road. 

Then, another vehicle ran over him and the driver drove away. 

Moreover, the first driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers. The authorities say the first driver is not suspected of drug or alcohol use. 

The authorities are still searching for the second driver.
