At Least One Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident on Benet Road
OCEANSIDE, CA (March 30, 2018) – At least one person was hospitalized after two pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on Highway 76, late Friday evening.
According to the Oceanside Police Department, the pedestrian collision occurred at around 10:15 PM at the intersection of Highway 76 and Benet Road. Police said that a male victim sustained major head injuries and was transported via helicopter to a nearby trauma center. No details were immediately released about the condition of the second pedestrian.
Police are still investigating the collision to determine the exact cause.
