Two Vehicles Involved In Fatal Collision Near 80th Avenue
OAKLAND, CA (November 2, 2019) – An Oakland man died in an ATV crash in the 8000 block of Rudsdale Street on Saturday evening.
According to the police, the crash happened near 80th Avenue at approximately 7:13 PM.
Based on a report from the California Highway Patrol, the victim rode an all-terrain vehicle eastbound. After that, it collided with a Toyota Camry that traveled westbound and attempting to make a southbound turn into a driveway.
Authorities arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene. He is only identified as a 32-year-old Oakland resident.
Authorities said the driver of the Toyota, a 36-year-old Oakland resident, did not sustain injuries. Their name is not known at this time.
Police said alcohol and or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision. However, no other details were released as an investigation is on-going.
