It is important to drive safely and defensively whenever you drive on a multilane freeway. Use your mirrors, turn signals, and check your blind spot every time you change lanes. If you are driving slowly compared to the other vehicles, stay in the right lane unless you decide to pass a vehicle in front of you. Lastly, give yourself plenty of braking room if you are trailing a vehicle.
