Male Pedestrian Hurt in West Glenn Street Traffic Collision
Tucson, AZ (February 10, 2023) On Thursday morning, a man in his 40s sustained serious injuries after a hit-and-run crash on North Stone Avenue.
TPD says that the traffic collision happened at about 1:30 a.m. at the intersection with West Glenn Street.
Reports say that officers found a man with injuries from a collision with a vehicle. Paramedics transported the man to Banner – University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Moreover, police say that the man was found on the road along the southbound lanes of Stone Avenue, and not in a marked or implied crosswalk.
Officials say that the man had narcotics in his possesion, but it is not said if he was impaired at the time.
Additionally, police say that the vehicle the struck the pedestrian fled after the crash.
Tucson PD is searchign for the suspect driver and vehicle who will have noticeable front-end damage including on the windshield area.
