According to the Tucson Police Department, the auto-pedestrian crash happened around 9:30 p.m. in the area of North First Avenue and East Roger Road.

Authorities say that a vehicle struck a male pedestrian.

Medics rushed the injured victim to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officials say that the driver stayed at the scene.
