Norman Morrison Injured in Crippling 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 49 [Jamestown, CA]

Dianne Piccinini Arrested in Jamestown Auto Accident on Highway 49

JAMESTOWN, CA (February 3, 2024) – Friday afternoon, Norman Morrison suffered injuries in a crippling 2-vehicle crash on Highway 49.

The incident happened just after 2:00 p.m. on Highway 49 and Chicken Ranch Road.

According to reports, 70-year-old Piccinini of Oakdale was driving a 2023 Ford Bronco. Then, they veered onto the highway right in the path of a westbound 2000 Chevrolet Corvette. Officers revealed that 66-year-old Morrison of La Grange drove the Chevrolet.

“Piccinini failed to yield the right-of-way for Morrison and entered the roadway directly in front of the Corvette. As a result, the right front of the Ford crashed into the right side of the Corvette,” said CHP spokesperson Officer Steve Machado.

Piccinini suffered no injuries in the crash. However, Morrison suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.

According to reports, Piccinini was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Thus, they subsequently placed her under arrest for felony DUI causing bodily injury.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
